Glycolic Acid — What It Does and Who Should Use It

What is Glycolic Acid?

The smallest AHA, derived from sugarcane. Its small molecular size allows it to penetrate deeply.

What does it do?

Exfoliates the skin surface, smooths texture, fades dark spots, stimulates collagen, and brightens complexion.

Good for

Dull, uneven, aging, or thickened skin.

Avoid if

Sensitive or reactive skin at high concentrations. Always use SPF when using AHAs — they increase sun sensitivity.
