What is Kojic Acid?

A byproduct of fermented rice (sake production). One of the most studied natural skin-brightening ingredients.

What does it do?

Inhibits melanin production to fade dark spots and brighten skin.

Good for

Dark spots, hyperpigmentation, melasma.

Avoid if

Can cause irritation or contact dermatitis in some people. Use with caution on sensitive skin.
