What is Tranexamic Acid?
A synthetic derivative of lysine (an amino acid). Originally developed as a medication to reduce bleeding.
What does it do?
Fades hyperpigmentation, melasma, and post-inflammatory marks. Works differently from vitamin C or niacinamide, making it effective in combination.
Good for
Hyperpigmentation, melasma, and uneven skin tone. All skin types.
Avoid if
No known topical contraindications. Very well tolerated.
